Afterschool
The Council is working in collaboration with the Department of Public Instruction and the University of Wisconsin Extension to provide leadership in the development of the Wisconsin Afterschool Network.

Brain Project
Through public awareness and training The Brain Project works to ensure that those who work with and on behalf of children and adolescents better understand the relationship between brain biology and the impacts of life experiences on the developing brain.

Work & Economic Support
Kids thrive when their parents have access to jobs, training, and income supports that lead to family economic security. Through policy analysis and research, as well as aggressive advocacy, the Council seeks ways to bridge this skills gap in a manner that serves both the changing needs of employers and the continued struggle of many of Wisconsin’s working poor and unemployed.
